Minis Mania is Norwest Rugby’s FREE pre-season introductory rugby program for boys and girls aged 4 to 8 years old. After an awesome Week 1, Minis Mania will continue this Sunday 1 March, from 4pm at Alwyn Lindfield Reserve. This program is designed and led by experienced and qualified coaches from every age group at the Norwest Bulls. This means that the Bulls’ newest rugby recruits get the benefit of decades of rugby coaching experience from the day they start their rugby journey.
Our coaching team will teach the kids safe playing technique, and the basics of attack and defence in Minis rugby. After each session of ‘skills and drills’, we sort the kids into teams to play two 12-minute games so they can enjoy playing rugby with their new friends. They’ll also introduce them to concepts of teamwork and club spirit throughout the program.
Every kid will also get a FREE sausage sandwich and an ice block after the game, so they’ll already be fed when you get home!
All games will be touch, not tackle, so no extra gear is necessary. Sneakers, water bottles, sunscreen and a hat are all that’s needed.
