Which option is right for my child?
MINIS
The Minis competitions are open to children turning 5 up to the age of 9 this calendar year. The format of the competition varies by age, starting with Tri Tag and progressing as skills develop.
Norwest Minis play in the Western Sydney Minis Competition on Saturday mornings with venues located throughout Sydney.
This competition operates under the Pathways Laws and provide a series of age-specific modified rugby games. These modified games progressively develop the skills, fitness, and teamwork of all players maintaining a fun and family friendly experience for all participants.

juniors xv-a-side
This is a 12 round competition (plus finals) played on Sundays across Sydney. Boys are eligible from the year they are turning 10, through to 18. Girls can play in this competition until the year they are turning 12, after which they require dispensation for ages 13-15. 16+ are required to play in the girls-only competitions.

rugby 7s
For boys, 7s competitions run at the end of the XV-a-side competition in spring. These are run via a gala style event, leading into representative 7s events.
girls only competitions
Girls only competitions are currently structured as follows:
10-a-side: this competition runs along side the Juniors XV-a-side competition on a Sunday and leads into the XV-a-side representative weekend.
Girls 7s: Following the 10-a-side season, there are girls-only 7s competitions held on Sundays.

The Winter 7s competition commences in August and leads into the 7s representative weekend.

Spring 7s are held as a gala style event at the conclusion of the XV a-side junior competition.
