Wave 1 of the Girls Sizzling Sevens competition is now on. Details of venues and draws can be found on the SJRU website.
The Norwest Bulls will be hosting Round 4 on Saturday 16 March at Alwyn Lindfield Reserve, Glenwood, for our first girls rugby home games of the year. Blacktown City Council has recognised the event as part of the Blacktown City Games, meaning there will be medals on offer in all age groups for the teams with the highest For/Against Differential.
We’ll have the all-important Emergency Braiding Station run by Bridget and Amy, where you can get your hair braided professionally for a gold coin donation (all proceeds go to our U16 Girls Hong Kong tour). Joe will be running his coffee van and ice cream truck, and Lynley will ensure the beat is thumping in the canteen throughout the evening. We’re looking for volunteers to help out on the BBQ and in the canteen, as well as assist with ground marshalling. Our girls families will be filling the roster between 1.30pm and 4pm, after which they’ll need to prepare for their own matches.
All players must be registered to play – go to our Registration Page for instructions and online registration.
