About Norwest Bulls Junior Rugby Club

Norwest Bulls Junior Rugby Union Club was established in 2001 by a small group of people committed to developing a family Rugby club, to accommodate the burgeoning areas of Bella Vista, Kellyville Ridge, Glenwood, Parklea, Stanhope Gardens, Quakers Hill, Arcacia Gardens, Kings Langley, Kings Park and now The Ponds.

From relatively small beginnings in 2001, we now field 8 teams from Under 6’s through to U12 and one U15’s team. The club won its first premiership in 2009 with the U12’s and has since won 2 more premierships in 2016 with our U10’s and U11’s. We have also played in numerous grand finals spanning different age groups. Additionally we have numerous representative players in most grades, which is a testament to the players individual skills and our wonderful coaches, also one player new to rugby in U16’s in 2011 went all the way to represent NSW, a huge achievement in anyones books. There are many opportunities to represent, by being recognised through the Junior Rugby Pathways program, run by the ARU.

One of the most pleasing aspects in the early part of 2012 is the growth in new & re-registrations to the club, in all grades. It stems from the dedicated work by all of the Clubs volunteers & committee but most importantly, from the players, coaches and managers, as they all engender a feeling of inclusivity in this wonderful Club.

The Club has a warm family feel to it that can be witnessed on any training night, game day and in general discussions away from the park. We are very proud of the way our teams (and parents) behave – on and off the field – and this is a cornerstone of the Clubs ethics and morals, that we all conduct ourselves in a cordial manner and one of mutual respect. At the end of the day sport is to be enjoyed by our kids and our Club, coaches and managers ensure this becomes a reality.

In summary we are a Club that prides itself on its friendly yet competitive spirit, where all are welcome and welcomed. If you would like to become involved with our club, please contact the appropriate coach, manager or committee member via our contact page in this site.
